Bilingual Online Intern

This is a hands-on internship, focused on helping maintain and update the website and other online vehicles. The Online Intern helps with the website on a day-to-day basis, implementing its production, under the direction of the Communications Director and in coordination with the Technology Coordinator.

He/she helps establish production rules and processes and contributes to decisions about future directions. He/she will also help programs and other areas leverage the web to accomplish their goals.

Additionally, the Online Intern will implement and help design constituency management activities such as distribution of email action alerts, newsletters and other communications.

Helpful Experience (not required)

  • Experience working in an office setting.
  • Experience using the web as a publishing medium
Skills and Qualifications
  • Spanish and English language skills
  • Superb writing and editing abilities
  • Familiarity with HTML, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communications skills for collaborating with others
  • Detail oriented, high standards for quality of work
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Write and edit content for our website and other online vehicles
  • Conduct quality control checking regularly
  • Monitor usage to inform new content development and new directions
  • Collaborate with staff members and outside vendors
  • Implement special projects as assigned.

This internship requires a minimum of 20 hours, and up to 40 hours, per week. We will provide a free MBTA pass for an intern working 20-40 hours per week.
