VIDEO: Where Do Corporate Tax Breaks Go?

Taxpayers provide billions of dollars in subsidies to some of the country's largest corporations. These behemoth companies — often referred to as "job creators" by conservative talking heads — then make billions of dollars in profits and disburse billions of dollars in dividends to shareholders (the owners). But, what do taxpayers get in return? More jobs?

And yet the republicans continue to protect and fight for these companies.  I honestly don't know how they sleep at night.

the sleep sound.. Giant piles of lobbist cash stuffed in the matress is comfy.

Just the tip of the iceberg

Read "Free Lunch" by David Cay Johnston.  If the "Tea Party" really meant what they say, all of this nonsense would be stopped.  Taxes would go way down and the deficit would be non-existent.  Unfortunately, our leaders lower the deficit by taking away from the working class while maintaining absolute nonsense like this.
