How We Got In and What We Need To Do To Get Out

We will discuss these questions:

  • Why are we in an economic crisis?
  • How does it affect your family and community?
  • What can you do to build a fair economy?

Speakers will include:

  • Ellen Frank, economist, U. Mass Boston, and author of The Raw Deal: How Myths and
  • Misinformation about Deficits, Inflation, and Wealth Impoverish America
  • Amaad Rivera, United for a Fair Economy-Steve Meacham, City Life
  • Chuck Collins, Institute for Policy Studies
  • Community Members who are facing loss of their homes.

There will also be plenty of time for your questions. Information to help homeowners and tenants will be available. Light refreshments will be provided. This event is part of a nation-wide week of action on the economic crisis.
