Since a young age, she has been interested in community service and activism, including attending protests against the Iraq war with her family. Since graduating from college, she has worked in museum education, English as a Second Language teaching, and volunteer management. She has also lived in Mexico and Peru. Three years ago, Sara became involved in Resource Generation, which organizes young adults with class and wealth privilege for the equitable redistribution of land, wealth and power.
