Phyllis "Sunshine" Utley

 

Phyllis Utley, aka Sunshine, is a collaborative cultural worker, literary artist, policy analyst, popular educator, and Wealth Reclamation Practitioner. Ye Iswa, People of the River Otter Clan, daughter of Queen Mother Maggie Belle, who has cared for this side of the earth for millennia and, through resilience and persistence, continues to do so despite generations of state-supported acts of removal and genocide. We are still here, despite Paper Genocide, etc. My Great Grandmother Patience had 22 children. I manifest her wildest dreams. I live to tell the story. I live for our liberation. I am an Alumni of Dartmouth College with a major in Economics and a two-time Tzedek Social Justice Impact Awardee.
