Now Hiring: North Carolina Wages and Workers Rights Organizer
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Wages and Workers Rights Organizer will support the development of an intersectional wage justice campaign to win concrete policy changes that improve the lives of low-wage workers, including immigrants and new workers, across North Carolina. Success will be achieved by developing a representative coalition that is guided by and informed by the members and organizations on the ground that center their work on BIPOC communities. The Organizer will build strong relationships with coalition partners and support them in their work. This position is based in North Carolina.
UFE’s Inclusive Economies Project, IEP, brings together grassroots organizations in strategic states to push for progressive and equitable public policy and supports the movement to a more inclusive and fair economy.
