"The Discipline of Hope" - an interview with Eroc

Our Director of Cultural Organizing, Eroc Arroyo-Montano, was interviewed last week to discuss “The Discipline of Hope” with Ricky Grant Jr. In the interview, Eroc shares a brief history of Puerto Rico and how this helped spark the fire for him being a “Revolutionary for Hope” today.

“I had a great time talking with community leader, former UFE training of trainers participant, collaborator and friend Ricky Grant on his platform. Grateful for the opportunity to speak to the theme of Hope—which will be one of our themes at our upcoming gathering at the Highlander Center,” he shared after the interview.

Eroc’s belief in the revolutionary power of Hope has brought a new perspective to our work, especially during our Training of Trainers where organizers and movement leaders often arrive feeling tired, burnt out, or hopeless. His inspirational hope and his ability to share it and inspire others is a gift we are so grateful for!
