One week after US #TaxDay, the executive directors of Alianza Americas and United for a Fair Economy teamed up for a Facebook Live chat in Spanish.  They discussed who is paying taxes, how they're being spent, and what we can all do to hold our elected officials accountable to responsibly spending our hard-earned money.

In addition to the Livestream, there was a webinar held in mid-May, called "Know where your taxes are going on #TaxDay".

The webinar discussed the need for fiscal responsibility, and examined how the irresponsible use of taxpayer dollars, implementation of regressive tax codes, and reckless application of immigration laws harms communities across the country. This webinar, featuring leaders from United for a Fair Economy, Latin America Working Group, and Prosperity Now, discussed how to keep elected officials accountable for ensuring that our hard-earned tax dollars benefit our communities. The webinar was offered in English.
